Serves 6

Teriyaki Chicken Recipe Ingredients:

12 chicken drumsticks
1/2 cup Japanese soy sauce
2 tablespoons mirin
1 tablespoon sugar
2 tablespoons oil

Teriyaki Chicken Recipe Cooking Instructions:

1. Place the soy sauce, mirin and sugar in a small pan and stir over low heat until sugar dissolves. Bring to boil, reduce the heat and simmer, uncovered, for 2 minutes.

2. Heat the oil in a large heavy-based frying pan. Add the chicken drumsticks in batches and cook over high heat until browned on both sides.

3. Return all the chicken to the pan. Add the sauce. Cover and cook for 20 minutes or until the chicken is tender. Serve with rice.
