Serve this spicy vegetables with almonds as an accompaniment to a meat dish with freshly cooked rice.
Spicy Vegetables with Almonds Ingredients:
1 tsp black peppercorns, crushed
1 bay leaf
1 thinly sliced zucchini
1/3 cup green beans (sliced into 1 in pieces)
1/4 cup flaked (sliced) almonds
2 tbsp vegetable oil
2 sliced onions
2in fresh root ginger (shredded)
1/4 tsp ground turmeric
1 tsp ground coriander
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp garam masala
2 1/2 cups sliced mushrooms
2 tbsp natural or plain yogurt
2/3 cup water
1 tbsp fresh mint (chopped)
