Ginataang Alimango Ingredients
6 pcs alimango (crabs)
2 pcs coconut, grated
100 g ginger, grated
3 tbsp soy sauce (fish sauce)
1 tsp black pepper, ground
3 tbsp chilli pepper, chopped
6 pcs green chilli pepper
3 cups water

Ginataang Alimango Cooking Instructions
Broil grated coconut for 3 minutes or until top is golden brown. Set aside to cool. With a cheesecloth, extract as much as 250 ml of cream. Set aside. Add water to the pulp and squeeze to extract coconut milk.
In a casserole, pour coconut milk. Add the onion, ginger, chopped chilli pepper and bring to boil. Simmer for about 3 minutes then add the alimango, soy sauce, and ground pepper.
Simmer for about 15 minutes. Stir in the coconut cream and whole chilli pepper.
