Bagnet Pinoy Recipe
This crunchy deep fried pork with matching sliced spices is perfect for dinner.
1 kg Pork Belly, whole
1/3 c Garlic, crushed
1 pc Laurel
1 tbsp Salt
1 tsp Peppercorn, whole
8 cups Oil, for deep frying
Bagnet Recipe Cooking Instructions:
1. Combine ingredients in a pan. Fill with water until pork is submerged. Boil until tender.
2. Dry out pork. Then fry in 8 cups of pre-heated oil. Adjust heat to low and fry for 1 hour. Meat must be submerged in oil. Drain on paper towels. To store bagnet, freeze and re-fry before serving.
